Prepare the files

Choose audio you created or have permission to use. Keep a local original. Name files in the intended order, for example 01 Introduction and 02 Chapter One. Listen to a sample of each and check that the files open. See preparing audio for splitting and ordering chapters.

Create on a computer or phone

Open Yoto Create and sign in to your Yoto account. Start a playlist, name it and upload the files. You can also use the Yoto app's playlist creation controls when your audio is on your phone. Work with one small test playlist first if this is your first upload.

Review before linking

Check the track order, names and icons, then play the beginning and end of each track. Keep a copy of the source files so that an upload problem does not lose your recording. Once the playlist works, link it to a MYO card.

Current Yoto instructions

Yoto can change button labels and upload limits. Use its official MP3 upload guide for the current controls and accepted files. Old screenshots from the previous TOYO guide have not been reused as current interface instructions.

If an upload fails, try the troubleshooting guide before deleting a playlist.
