Link a playlist to a card

Use the Yoto app and a MYO card to play your playlist on a player.

Get ready

Have a working playlist, an official MYO card and your Yoto player available. Use the Yoto account that holds the playlist. Linking changes which playlist that physical MYO card points to, so choose a card you intend to reuse.

Open the playlist in the Yoto app and choose its card-linking action. Follow the prompt to insert your MYO card into the player and confirm Link. Remove and reinsert the card when prompted, then test playback. Yoto's official upload/linking guide describes the current flow.

Phone NFC linking

Where the app offers phone NFC linking, follow its scan prompt and keep one card at the phone's reader until the operation finishes. See scanning tips if alignment is difficult. Reading a card URL with an NFC reader is a different action from linking it through Yoto.

Check the result

Confirm the expected playlist plays. Give the player time online to download uploaded audio before testing offline. Radio and podcast streams may need an internet connection. Third-party cards have different behavior; read the advanced NFC guide before using them.
