Podcasts on MYO cards

Find the right podcast feed and distinguish streaming from uploaded files.

Start with Yoto's selection

Look in the Yoto app for the podcast you want, open it and use the card-linking action if available. Check the show and episode before handing the card to a child.

Add another podcast

For a custom podcast, obtain the publisher's public RSS feed, then open Yoto Create using your usual Yoto account. Use the podcast/stream creation flow and test the resulting playlist before linking a MYO card. An ordinary web page, an Apple Podcasts listing and an RSS feed are different URLs.

Follow Yoto's official radio and podcast guide for current steps. A private paid feed can contain an access token: do not submit or post that URL publicly.

Streaming and offline use

A live feed can change as the publisher updates it. Test playback with your player online; do not assume a stream has been saved for offline use. If a publisher offers downloadable audio you are permitted to use, uploading selected files creates a separate MYO playlist with its own ordering and update behavior.

For RSS notifications about community posts, see YS RSS. A posts feed is not necessarily an audio podcast feed accepted by Yoto.
